One-part hotmelt adhesives

Hot melt adhesive is made of thermoplastic materials. The polymer is solid at room temperature, but melts inside the specially-designed heated applicator gun enabling the liquid adhesive to be applied to the parts to be joined before it solidifies as it cool at room temperature.

 

Thermoplastic adhesive is typically provided as sticks or pellets.

 

Different types of hot melt adhesive are available to suit the application and substrates:

  • Polyolefine adhesives: wood, polyethylene, polypropylene, glass, ABS
  • EVA adhesives (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate): wood and cardboard
  • Acrylic adhesives: PE, PP, PVC, ABS
  • Polyamide adhesives: wood, cardboard (maintains properties at high temperatures)
