Walco Corporation, Pittsburgh, PA, joins ADDEV Materials North America to create a leading adhesive converter for the Automotive market

Following the recent acquisition of Profom in Montreal, Canada, Walco Corporation, based out of Pittsburgh, PA, USA, joins ADDEV Materials’ North America Business Unit. Walco Corporation specializes in the converting of high performance adhesive backed products. 

For more than 40 years, Walco has been a leader in the development and fabrication of films, foams, flocks, foils and protective films dedicated to assembly, insulation and gasketing solutions. 

This acquisition represents an opportunity for ADDEV Materials to strengthen its North American position in the automotive strategic market, as well as Industrial and Medical markets. Walco Corporation has in place strong strategic partnership with key manufacturers such as 3M converting and Rogers Corporation, and built a specific know-how of high value-added adhesive lamination and converting. 

Moreover, Walco Corporation is ISO 16949 / IATF, ISO 14001 certified as well as owns client’s certifications such as the GM supplier certification BIQS, which enables Walco to reach clients’ quality and safety standards and to stay competitive in the Automotive market, whether the products and solutions are delivered in kits or “just in time”.
