Laminates

Laminates

Laminates are flexible insulating materials formed by bonding two or more layers together to produce composite, multi-layer products with a combination of high-value properties which derive from the key  characteristics of each individual material.

The materials used often differ in type and are laminated using glues developed specially for the laminate’s intended application.

ADDEV Materials can produce customised laminates using materials selected to meet your requirements perfectly.

Our multi-layer technical grade films can be made up from a wide range of supports and materials (aluminium, PET, Nomex, Kapton, adhesive tape, paper, PE, PI, mica, etc.) depending on the required properties and performance levels. Depending on how they are bonded, the properties of each product can vary without limit.

A few examples of the properties offered by our laminates:

  • UV resistance
  • Heat resistance
  • Mechanical strength
  • Electrical resistance
  • Resistance to hydrolysis
  • Thermal conductivity
  • Electrical conductivity
  • Reflectance
  • Chemical protection
  • Surface appearance

With the backing of our research facility at Saint-Chamond (south-west of Lyons) we can advise you on material selection and partner with you to develop bespoke laminates that meet all your technical requirements.

Together, we can address your needs in medium or large production runs.
